Located at the busy street of Kelapa gading, Jakarta Utara. this restaurants is the staple of Palembang foods in this area.

getting a parking is really difficult here so i do recommend you to just grab a taxi here.

if you ever come here, the food that you should try is their Pindang soup.

pindang soup is a clear sour soup base serve with river fish meat ( you could choose whether you want fish head, body or tail meat)

there is variation of what kind of river fish you want as your pindang, but i always choose ikan patin (shark catfish) because there's not too much bones in it.

the soup taste a bit like tom yum, the fish meat is really fatty and doesn't has any earthy smell at all.

BUBUR KWANG TUNG (OPEN 24 HOURS)- PECENONGAN CENTRAL JAKARTA

Specialize on serving all kinds of thick porridge (note: porridge! not congee!) This place is one of the must visit place if you ever come near this area.

apart from selling porridge, there's also lots of other foods to be enjoy together with the porridge.

they provides other menus such as all kind of eggs, tofu, meats (except pork), veggies even seafood.

I was lured to visit Rollover Reaction pop up store because of their giveaway for the first 100 people in line.

located at the fourth floor of pop on plaza indonesia, i hurriedly come to register their giveaway. But after seeing a really long and crowded line there, i decided to bailed off and come again after all the crowd died off and of course no giveaway for me sadly.

I actually encounter this humble eatery thanks to my uncle.
my uncle do know that i like to eat at unusual places with good foods, and he was bragging about this place being a hidden gem for great foods.

TAMAN SARI ROYAL HERITAGE SPA- PASAR BARU BRANCH

Located at a little alley on jalan lao tze, pasar baru. this branch of taman sari royal heritage spa by mustika ratu is newly open on october 2016.

i actually discover this little heaven because they having a discount treatment vouchers on "myfave" app.

one treatment that catch my eyes is their " royal aquamedic spa". i have no idea what is aquamedic treatment looks like, so i decided to have a go at it.

this is my third time buying Althea box, you could say that i'm totally hooked to their exclusive boxes and can't wait for new one to appear on their web.

its been ages since my last spa post! 2 years?

why is there no new post on my spa page?

its because this past few years i've been going to the same spa places as my previous post

other than that i also tried other massage places but i think its not worthy to be post.

SOOOO

finally i found another "hidden" gem for spa treatment, and its called nest family reflexology and spa (fiuuh,, thats long)

this place actually really close to my place but one of my friend had tried this place (not their spa though, just their reflexology massage) and had a really bad time there.

she said that the therapist is so corrupted with their time management, and when the therapist thought she was asleep they didn't put pressure on their massage. so my friend had to go "ehmm..ehmm.." and they start putting pressure on their massage.
